FREEZE OUT!!!

Here I come!! Oh it's time yet again for another wonderful time at good ole Lake Ann Camp!

This is a wonderful memory of last years winter retreat and LA!!! Oh how I loved counseling with wifey!!

This is my Year....

My first entry in the year 2007. I can honestly say this was one of the best new year party's I have had. I got to spend new years with 50 junior highers at an all night party at east hills althetic center. I even saw 2 of my campers from summer '05 and the whole night I was thinking how much I love jr highers and how I miss being involved in there lives. I got to spend the first of the year severing the Lord. Can it get any better than that?? I think not.

This year is my year... the year of Change.... needed change.. I am headed off to northen michigan for my internship!! I then graduate in May!! And I am hopefully getting an apartment with some pretty amazing girls! I am going to get a job... a real job, one that I will enjoy and be able to use the skills that I have learned over the past couple of years. haha... It's ture I guess... I might be able to go to camp for one more amazing summer of loving juniors- senior-highers. What I loved the most about camp was investing everything I have into those 8-11 campers I had each week. I loved the counselors, but my focus was always on how can I impact these girls and challenge these girls. ***soap box*** Okay, it was come'n so now I'm on it I better just say it and then move on. I got real heated when I would see counselors standing around during free-time and activites that they didn't have to lead... talking about what there were going to do that weekend and telling jokes and just messing around not really focused on this week and not realizing that this was "Camp is for the camper" don't go to camp just cause it's fun and you want to have fun and be like a kid all summer. Make a difference, invest in your campers, stop hook'n up with some hot chick, and worry'n about who all is going to come to so and so's house and there's not enough room so, only x amount of people can come.... blah blah blah. AHHHH that made me mad...

Moving on... I am in Into. to Lit. for j-term, I thought it was going to be boring and a lot of reading. But, actually the professor is really good and I am enjoying the class!! The professor I think was a pastor or something becuase we talk about the bible and how we should live more than we talk about literautre. Anyways, I like the class and I don't have that much homework so I can enjoy it!! Stress free... just the way I like it!!  

Anyways, I am super pumped and really nervous about what God is going to teach me while I am at Eagle village!! This is going to be a great year!! I can already tell!!

3. Dating kyle and then breaking up with him

4. loosing friends, and learning a hard yet really good lesson about friendships

5. Being an RA and loving my girls

6. Switch'n churches and meeting Liz, Tim, Dave, Amy, and everyone else

7. Going to counseling and working on a bunch of my crap

8. Having Steve and Sarah move back to Michigan...even if it is only for a couple of months

9. Spring break to my brothers house

10. Spending time with wifey.... and our dates

Mom told me she was proud of me beacuse I sent her my Christmas list...

A girl talked to me at work and she knew my name but I couldn't for the life of me remeber her's and she knew it...

I told my friend that I didn't like her testicles and I ment tentacles...

I spent forever trying to decide what to eat at Firday's and I just ordered a bowl of soup...

Back Nail Polish...

So, I bought this black nail polish and I think I love it. A friend of a friend told me her reason for wearing black nail polish and how she likes to wear it when she's in a bad mood. So, I tried it. When I am having a bad day.. I pull out the black nail polish and I feel so mean when I put it on. It is so not me and that's why I like it.

Well, I am having a bad day, it's not that bad but bad enough to pull out the nail polish...and I like it...

I have people I have to talk with and I don't think it is going to go down very well. I will probably cry... but in all God is in control and he knows what is best for me... and all I can do is be patient and keep following Christ.

Wifey is taking me out to dinner tonight.... That will make for a better night and a better tomorrow

Lake Ann Camp in 4 days!!!

I can't wait....hang'n out with my Rice family and my Riley Family.... totally can't wait....

I love camp soooo much and I love everyone there... it's gonna be a difficult weekend with trying to say goodbye to the people you love. But, at the same time how exciting to see what God is doing at LA.

Woot Woot Eagle villiage here I come also on Friday......... Oh my Word I can't wait........

Oh, I should be getting my new car this week!!

I'm so happy and so totally excited!!
